This is my offering for the Daily Paintworks Challenge. The challenge was to paint from a landscape photo taken in Germany - editing as you wish. I really enjoyed it. I've been wanting to get outdoors to paint so this challenge came at the perfect time ; )

When I saw this on FB I was on my iphone and it was very small. I could see I liked it even then, but now I am on my actual PC I can see just how good it is! That low sunlight is so perfectly observed! I feel like I am right there!!
Love the lavenders with green. And I am always so attracted to vanishing paths and streets as witnessed by my art. What is that? Maybe curiosity about what is ahead? Nice painting!

Wow. I don't know what else to say! Kim... I hate to say it's 'perfect'.. but IMHO.... Looooove the atmosphere, the light, the shadow feels so real...

I really adore the colors you used here. It definitely drew my eye on a page of thumbnails.
