Love the colors in the glass and those shadows are amazing. Looking forward to seeing more of these ink bottles in your paintings.Linda Popplehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06597184853450230942noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-101566683636638793.post-58411482310693426992010-03-30T05:50:16.253-04:002010-03-30T05:50:16.253-04:00Another Kim masterpiece. Amazing nobody ever did anything with the ink except fill the bottles. Again beauty where you least expect it. Thank you so much for your good wishes sadly today the pain seems even more intense so another day without painting for me.Ralphhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02099161160886274555noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-101566683636638793.post-81254602082030249572010-03-29T23:12:28.733-04:002010-03-29T23:12:28.733-04:00Kim, those ink bottles are amazing! It would only hold enough ink for 2 or 3 letters. After that we had refillable pens that sucked up ink out of the bottles. It was a messy process. We always had ink blotters because inevitably<br />the ink would leave a splotch and of course it took a while to dry. Smeary writing was the frustrating norm.lcnoreply@blogger.com
