I agree, can't stay away from the flowers, I really like your trees in the previous post! I did some pastels with snow and trees and threw it away, I think I will try the oils. I like how the branches can fade, you did a good job!
By way of explanation, I should say I have always loved all your stuff, but leaned towards the landscapes in preference. But I now find myself having the same heart-reaction to all of it - whether it is a 6inch daily or full sized painting, Doesn't matter if it is majestic scenery or humble cherry. Anymore, it's a rare day when I don't resonate with something in what you've painted. As one of the people who've shared your journey with you from the early days, I thought you needed to hear that, Kim.
I've seen such growth and emerging maturity in your work, it has inspired me. I've started sketching for 5 minutes every day (all the time I can squeek out right now), with an eye to doing something like your blog eventually.
Oh Shell, one of my chicks... yes, you have put in your time listening to venting, frustrations and the like : ) Thanks - you have been a wonderful support on my path! I'm glad you see improvement. I do too. And I don't know where you're finding 5 extra minutes but cheers to that!

Thanks Mary Anne. I have a hard time believing you had to throw one of your pastels away ; ) Love your work too!
