Wanderlust.
Who hasn't felt it? Where would you go if money wasn't an object? I'd love to know, on this cold January day. Let's all do some dreaming : )
24"x36" / acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas / $1050
Love this! Where? I'd pop in and visit you, spend a weekend in New York City, head over to Paris, spend a few months in France and Italy. Okay just one because I teach in March.
Everywhere and anywhere!!!! I love discovering new places! To start though, I could head down south to a beach away from the rain for a week before joining Barbara in Paris or Italy! :) love your work, thanks for sharing Kim!
Hi kim. I just discovered you and your work this morning when you commented on karinlynn' some post. I love your work!!! I just wanted to comment on your post this morning. I have experienced intense feelings of wanderlust my whole life. Growing up in a tiny outport community without much stimulation was very difficult for me. Then again when going through life raising kids and taking care of a family, I thought I would lose my mind sometimes. Not to say I didn't enjoy my nice stable life with my family because I loved it and needed them. I often joked with my husband that I don't know what would have happened with me if I didn't have him in my life. There were many days when I seriously worried that I would go to the airport and get on the next flight to anywhere that I felt was exotic or interesting. Nov and Jan were always my most challenging months. Anyway now that I am 51, and I've found painting, my angst has started to settle out but it was great to read your post this morning. This is something I have had to deal with my whole life and personally I never meet anyone who ever felt the way I did.

Mmmmm... where would I go? Florence? Canary Islands? New York City? or staying closer to home... a Via Rail trip to the west coast?
