ARTLOVE 🖤

Today’s ARTLOVE are paintings by Tom Hodgson (1924-2006). Hodgson was a Canadian painter, born in Toronto. By all accounts he was quite a wild one* 👀 Here are three of my favourite pieces of his: Street Scene #3, 1958; January ‘58, 1958; and Untitled, 1958. I just can’t get over the gorgeous colour, shapes and line. Superb! *he has quite a story and as a side note, he was also a two-time Summer Olympian in canoe sprinting.
