Holy hannah it is steaming out there! It was 33˚C (91.4˚F) but 41˚C with the humidex (105.8˚F)! So another cool melon for lunch - this time a cold, sweet cantaloupe : )
Oh ... these are soooo delicious. That temperature is very high for Canada it seems....but then we are getting -0% in the night which is also a record cold period here. I love that shade of blue with the orange - just gorgeous !
Love both of these melon paintings! The flesh looks so delicious and the colors are spot on. Plus, you've managed to portray the different textures...great job!
I LOVE cantaloupe. My favorite melon ever! You paint this beautifully, the angles are perfect and the colors are making me all happy inside. Orange and blue are my faves :)

I learned to eat cantaloupe with orange flavoured ice cream, very yummy... just like this painting.
