Monday update

Thanks to all the people who entered the draw. I went to random.org to pick a winner and it is Charissa T! Congratulations Charissa. I will send "2 Flowers" out to you this week.
Other news...today I went to Gallery M to drop off my work for the show on Thursday. It is a funky gallery and will be filled with lots of exciting, colourful, fabulous art. I can't wait!
And because I can't do a post without a visual I leave you today with a painting I did another lovely day in June. This is "Peonies and Phlox" / 16"x20" / acrylic on masonite.

Mes félicitations à l'heureuse gagnante...
Je suis gagnante aussi aujourd'hui en ayant la chance de pouvoir admirer ces merveilleuses pivoines.
Un travail magnifiques des blancs avec toutes ces belles nuances de couleurs.
Gros bisous

Hi Kim,
I love this one. I think this one is truly spectacular. I was considering painting phlox myself but couldn't figure out how to capture all those little petals--well, now I know! Truly lovely!
Cheers,
Brenda

Congrats on your 3rd blogiversary! You are a couple of months ahead of me! I'm so glad we met through this crazy blog world. I just know that someday we will paint together!

And by the way, I love the soft colours you used to depict the peonies. It's a beautiful painting.

I think peonies are challenging because it's hard Ti duplicate that fluff! These look picture perfect
