Here is my latest painting, "The heart's a strongbox". I know abstract work isn't everyone's cup of tea but I appreciate your comments. It's something I feel so excited about. I actually get a rush when I'm in front of my easel, applying paint. And that's a great thing to feel.

I totally know where you are coming from. I love the surprise after you have spent hours operating from an intuitive level of trust and you wonder "how did I do that?". Lots of people don't get it but I find working abstractly very difficult but so much more exciting than replicating something that already exists in the world. We are creating an idea, an unborn child, an emotional angst, a beauty that was NEVER in the universe before we picked up that brush and trusted. Fabulous work Kim and good on you for the new marketing to the great big Internet store...the world.
