Some days... + thank you Hy!

Well, the painting I last posted as a work-in-progress is now shot. I lost control of it and I'm not sure I can get it back. Ugh. And everything was going so well. It doesn't take long for something to go south, yes? Frustrating. In the meantime I thought I'd share something a friend posted. It really moved me. Joy in the act of painting. It won't take much of your time to watch - I hope it connects with you and renews something in your spirit : )

Super Kim. Things can go south, or take forever, and in the end when the beautiful painting is hanging on the wall, or out in a gallery and you're on to the next problem, it's like childbirth -- you forget the pain and only see the wonderful result.

Love this video.

XOXOXOXO Barbara

OMG! LOVE that video! I think I will start singing his song as I paint! Do you mind if I share your blog on mine? (Of course I'll credit you :) (Too bad about the painting, I was excited to see where it went, next !)
