A couple more sketches
These are my favourites from my sketchbook. In fact, it was the first one that helped formulate my painting for International Women's Celebrate!
Do any of you know the blog Urban Sketchers? It's the BEST! In fact this morning there are some fabulous sketches from Belgium and a sketch of a car in East Germany that blows me away. You've really got to check them out if you don't already follow. Also, tonight is the opening of the Bruno Capolongo Invitational at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts. 5:30-8pm. Looking forward to it!

Nice sketches, makes me want to break out my pad of paper.
I haven't visited Urban sketches in a while, that's for the reminder, good luck tonight.
Those are amazing sketches Kim! So energetic and confident. I love getting this peek into your sketchbook. :)
love these!!!
I love your sketches! I just got an order from Cheap Joe's full of sketchbooks and pencils because I haven't sketched in so long and it is so important to our paintings to be comfortable sketching!
Thanks for the extra motivation-
Sheryl

Kim,
Your sketches are wonderful and obviously the strong suit that so many of your wonderful paintings are built on. That good foundation. Love the top one especially- would love to see that one painted-
I like to see your sketches. The sketches seems always something more familiar, something friendly. That is way I love to see Urban Sketchers blog. It makes feel the world as a big family...
