Petals - SOLD

Well, the holiday has finally wrapped up and it's time to get back into the routine : ) I cast about for a good half hour trying to figure out what to paint, started, wiped off said start... but then it came together. Happy January!

Like the dozen plus others, I love red. And I love how you handled it in this painting, with many variations in the red to make it interesting yet keeping all-the-while, the wonderful intensity and warm of color.

i'll say it came together! the reds are amazing, along with the subtle shadow and highlites. this is amazing kim
