June Pond, 16"x20", acrylic, 2011, $425
Daily Painter Originals recently interviewed me and the article is now posted. There were some interesting questions! They got me thinking about old board games ("Masterpiece" anyone?), paintings I love (with accompanying images) and advice I'd like to share. You can check it out here! Thanks DPO.

Kim I just LOVE June Pond! The looseness, palette and cropped composition.
Great questions and thoughtful responses. Congratulations Kim!
Loved the interview, Kim.
Just confirms all the warmth and enthusiasm that is reflected in your blog posts.
So nice knowing you from afar.
I really enjoyed the article Kim. Its great to know what motivates and inspires people and what got us here in the first place. Thanks for the introduction to these artists, especially John Hartman. His work is astounding....but it makes me feel so small and insignificant...but I agree..keep painting and we will get where we want to be.
Great colors and perspective in June Pond.
What a great interview to read over my morning cup of coffee! You give me (emerging & aspiring artist) such inspiration as you are doing what you love and your paintings show that.
Thank you for more artists to look up! :)
Great painting. It's colors drew me in, so glad you mentioned the article!

I love the closing line "But I love what I'm doing, keep educating myself, and go forth with optimism and an inquisitive heart". That's really great advice! Great article! Congrats!
