Thank you for the comments about my piece yesterday! I was going ot post a good shot of it today but the lighting was off so I'll wait and take a better picture tomorrow.
This is what I worked on today. The start of a woods painting.
Bonjour ma chère Kim, J'aime le vertige que m'apporte le début de cette peinture. J'ai hâte de voir son aboutissement. A ce stade, elle me fait penser à un gigantesque incendie, où les arbres se défendent pour demeurer coûte que coûte fiers et debout... Je suis très heureuse de vous retrouver... Gros bisous
WOW!!! Kim this one went right into my inspiration folder. There are so many aspects of this painting that I am excited about. It's one of those paintings that just draws you in, I've been enjoying it for the last five minutes. The background juxtaposed against the perspective of the trees and indeed the treatment of the trees is simply perfect! outstanding work!
