So I am taking an abstract painting class and I have to say abstract painting is tough, tough, tough! But thoroughly enjoyable. This is acrylic on canvas, 15"x30". Below is a detail.
If you don't mind my asking, where are you taking the class? I haven't heard of any abstract painting classes, though I enjoy Rolina van Vliet's book Abstracts: 50 Inspirational Projects" Stay inspired!
It's wonderful! I see trees in the background with maybe waterfalls and perhaps a holiday park in the foreground... I wonder what everyone else sees? :0)
I bet it's tough. I wouldn't have any idea of where to start! I like this one a lot Kim. How do you come up with the ideas?? I'd really like to know that. :)

Love it! Wonderful balance of colour and lots of movement. Can I see spring in there LOL?

You may find it hard, but you're wonderful with abstract work.

That usually happens with something you try new. Keep working at it if you like abstract.

I'm a fan of your abstracts. I love Park too. I agree with you that abstract is tough. Getting the right balance of color/form/movement.
