This is a plein air painting I did a couple of months ago and forgot to post (along with another I'll post tomorrow). I was drawn to some back lighting of the sun pouring out through a parting in the trees. This piece is 16x20 on gallery wrapped canvas.

This is just so beautiful in so many ways! The flat shapes and simplification create such a statement. (Less is more?) Great job!
