The thing about childhood

If anyone ever has any questions about my paintings (process or what-have-you) ask away! Sometimes I err on the side of brevity but I am more than happy to do Q&As. I can really chat when I get on a roll : )
"The thing about childhood" is 24"x30" / acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas.

Des formes et des couleurs heureuses... celles de l'enfance innocente...
Une jolie peinture.

I love this one Kim! I have a book on art I was looking at yesterday and there were some paintings in it by Wassily Kandinsky. His paintings reminded me of yours. Not many people can pull of abstract painting, but you are one Artist who definitely can :0)

I think the title of this one is very astute. It gets you thinking and looking. I was drawn immediately to the olive looking shape...my Dad always gave me the last olive in his martini when I was a kid!

Love it. Thinking a lot about childhood lately because I'm painting children, and thinking about young adults. Love the painting. So exuberant.

XOXO Barbara
