After doing all the roses I felt a real urge to paint something hard and sharp. Does anyone else ever get like that? Anyway, it felt good to switch. Cheers!
Love the color contrast. Red and green...so energizing. Also loved the colors in "Hot Pink". I feel the same only opposite...I get tired of the straight lines of buildings and cars and need to do something organic!
Kim, I so know what you are talking about. I always have to mix it up. The colors in this piece are so strong, love it! Very happy to be a part of Daily Painter originals with you.
I'm the same way, I make grandiose plans for a large body of work centering on one subject and about half way through I'm bored not only with the subject but the medium too! :)
Totally agree with needing to switch inspiration. I love mixing it up, I think it keeps life interesting for the artist and the viewer and collector. Love the vibrant colours. Kim

Love all of your work. Wow, that is commendable to do a new painting every day. Keep up the hard work.
Peace and love Teri
So the roses drove you to drink, eh?
Great job. I love that deep deep green next to the red.

Nice job! And enjoyable to have a cocktail.

I feel the same way. You shift gears well. Nice contrast of the red background against the green bottles.

love this bold statement of shapes. nice greens too, they read well and give depth to the glass
The greens say it all and I am glad that you showed only a portion of the bottles, Kim. It made an interesting 'slice-of-life' scene!
Yes! I get like this! and these bottles ROCK. I love the loose interpretation of them. No fussiness. Hope you enjoyed them!
Beautiful, love the compliments!
Ok, so seriously, this one is my fave. Just gorgeous, I love that red background too :)
