This is an interesting looking sandal Kim. The play of lights and darks you've created in the painting is wonderful !

I have been enjoying your shoe series, Kim. I have always wanted a pair of red, sequined shoes like Dorothy wore in the Wizard of Oz.
Actually, your red shoe painting called "Kickin'" came pretty close.
Maybe you can find a pic of Dorothy's shoes somewhere and paint them for your collection.

All of these shoes are so fantastic Kim. I love the angle of this one. You've done an awesome job again. Wouldn't it be cool to see all these shoe paintings hanging together in a gallery? You should take a photo of that, I'd love to see it! And congrats about your paintings being featured in the gallery! Wish I could come see them :)

This flip flop looks like such a FUN shoe, you know? And it looks comfy too. I love flip flops :)

Wonderful work, Kim! Love that strong line of the sole and the way the shadow falls.

You made a simple sandal a riveting subject, Kim. Love the use of umber underneath. Really makes it pop.
