Knotted ribbon sandal - SOLD

It seems that shoes are becoming my painting "comfort food". When I'm feeling a little scattered or unsure of what to paint, I just dive in and search for a shoe! Funny. Anyway, this is a knotted summer sandal. Looks more comfortable than it is. They're mostly relegated to the back of the closet.

Fabulous! And I love the way you signed your name at the top. Why do I find that part (and the title!) so hard?

Kim, this piece is beautiful! I love the way the depicted shadow is cast off of the ribbon on the sole and I love the overall composition... Your style is engaging and endearing! Keep up the inspiring work!

Hi Kim:
You really captured the rich butterscotch colour of the leather.
A friend of mine calls uncomfortable, but great looking shoes her 'sit-down shoes'. She tried to wear them to events where she knew she would be sitting most of the time...

Love the polka dots. Why are the cute ones so uncomfortable? You are so good at shoes, that is why they are your "comfort food".
