One for the road

...or trail. A hiking boot. This boot is only a week old - hence its good condition. I remember back in art college in object drawing class we had to do a pair or old work boots. I think it was one of my favourite drawings from my years in school. Boots have a lot of character, especially as they get worn in and comfortable.

Those look like awesome hiking boots, you really show the character of the boot through the painting. Makes me want to go on a long hike.

Love seeing this rough hiking boot next to the ultra feminine sandal below! So fun! Great job on capturing the chunkiness of the boot and the thick leather.

This one does have a lot of character. We need these in our wardrobes as well as the pretty ones.

I haven't worn a pair of hiking boots since Wyoming...these bring back wonderful memories! You captured the wieght and texture of the boot. Love the browns that you are able to get.

it reminds me of those boots done by Van Gogh...this painting shows beautifully. Clear, concise painting.
