Plums in pottery bowl - SOLD

Still working with these plums. I love the colours and am starting to figure them out. The humidity finally broke today - yay!

Your color palette is beautiful with the blues and oranges. I like your impressionistic brushstrokes and that beautiful shadow.

Love the bowl, and how you painted the orange's reflection in it! Yay that the humidity broke...it is less humid here too...phew!

this color scheme is wonderful. I would have been scared of this bowl, but you've handled it beautifully-great shapes

Thanks everyone! I was a little scared of this bowl too but it is so beautiful I had to give it a try. The outside is a rough, cracked dull finish pottery and the inside is glazed with flowing dusty aqua and milky blues. Eeks : )

Beautiful painting...I am drawn to the small amount of magenta in the shadow! Your brushstrokes are painterly and lush.

Love the subtle blue and mauve with the intense orange and yellow.

Excellent job on both the bowl and the plums! Love those indigo shadows with the oranges in the plums.

Hi, Kim. Love your pallet in this piece. The muted turquois against the one intense orange plumb really makes it for me. Very nice.
