From nostalgic antique ducks to kickin' zombie stompers ; ) Starr (who is a fellow artist blogger and does really great work) sent me a picture of these awesome shoes - and SHE HAS A PAIR! How cool are they?! You really should check out her Victorian praying mantis. Anyway - I digress... but we share a love of quirky things and (I'm assuming here) Tim Burton. And she thought I might like to paint these. Okay - I thought the duck was challenging! lol6" x 6" / oil on panel / $75

Great painting and composition! Love the yellow background with the red line which adds to the funky feel of the scene and brings it together. Some crazy shoes for sure!
