A plein air piece. I paint so many small dailies that sometimes I feel cramped up and then I know it's time to get outside and paint something a little bigger. My goal once autumn hits is to get some large pieces going again. Anyway, this was painted on Sydenham Road in Dundas. A warm, summer evening. The fields were just glowing!

It's so beautiful Kim. Everything you paint is :) I love that tree on the side, it's isolated but it doesn't look lonely, maybe it's all the great colors you have. The red and green looks amazing together!
I can't wait for fall to get here! Of course I'll be changing my mind once my kids start getting sick every other week. :)
This is amazing! Wow. So gorgeous! I love the color and the lone tree.
Wow! You are so ambitious to paint such a big piece plein air! You make me want to try a large painting. Thanks for the inspiration!
Lovely piece Kim, I will look forward to more!

Absolutely gorgeous...you can almost feel the wind blowing!
I have been painting more lately but I feel as though I am stuck in a rut! I need some inspiration, haha!
This is beautiful! And you were in my neighborhood! I wonder if you were the person my husband saw while walking the dog. I have often wanted to get up there to paint. Soon...
Gorgeous! Love that red/green palette and the touches of hot pink here and there. Great job on the sky too!
Way to go Kim:
A nice choice for a plein air work.

Fantastic. I know why you want to wait until autumn. It has been soooo hot. This is so lovely and rich.
Great painting,

I love Autumn (soon to approach us here in the UK) for that very reason - those beautiful colours! This painting is gorgeous :0)
