Fast Fuse HotWheel

I asked one of my children to bring me some HotWheels to paint. There are a lot of cool cars! I picked this one, "Fast Fuse" for my first. Ever since I painted some silver shoes, I've been keen on painting silver. The plastic dome part was really tough to get but it came together in the end. HotWheels are great. You can pretty much own any car you like for a couple of bucks! ; ) And no insurance premiums.
6" x 6" / oil on panel / $75

What a great little painting! The silver looks so real and the metallic blue is so electrifying. Love the way the blue is bouncing around off of the silver. Very cool!

It's amazing how you can make everyday things such as shoes, cakes and toys such a joy to look at! I always enjoy my visits to your blog - But, they do make me hungry!
