"Bridge" original oil painting by Kim Rempel - SOLD

Another view of the violin. I think this is a subject I'll go back to many times. There is a lot to tackle. Now I'm looking for some other instruments to get my hands on and paint...
6"x6" / oil on panel / SOLD

What a wonderful lyric quality. I can almost hear the music.

There is something so ethereal about instruments, the way you captured this one is so beautiful.I love everything about it, the perspective is so unique, you captured all of the complexities of the violin making it look effortless! I am hosting my first giveaway and it is a painting I have created myself. Consider entering it!

Hey, there's the rest of that violin.........very nice, Kim.
I really must get back to painting tomorrow. I just love seeing what everyone else is doing I'm afraid my studio is cold and dark right now.

That is so amazingly beautiful. ALl those curves, she's quite the stunner isn't she?

Love, love, love it! I hope you do a series of these all from different angles or something, I can just see them hanging on the wall of a musician's home or some fancy musical hall.

Love the painting rendered piece by piece Kim - bet all these little paintings really tell a story side-by-side.

Coloring and technique so well done!

Lovely loose brush strokes, but they depict the instrument so well. So many ideas for you in this area...hmmm...parts of a piano? Saxophone?

It's difficult to add anything that hasn't been said. The warmth of the wood tones are very beautiful.
