Today I painted these raspberries. They were pretty challenging in that I wanted to show the circular bits that make up the raspberry but only suggest them. It's a fine line!
These are wonderful and that is a fine line. I just learned and love the concept of letting the viewer finish the painting. I think a great way to stop painting and keep it fresh! Love the colors and the small definitions are sweet! Great shadows:)
Elles me mettent l'eau à la bouche! Comment avez-vous pu résister ? Faut-il supposer que le reste de la barquette était près de vous et qu'à chaque coup de pinceau vous picoriez! Très beau rendu avec ce trio... Bisous
there is so much depth in this painting! the texture of the paint around the berries is stunning! the palette is also amazing! you do so much more with small, simple objects, it's just incredible!

They are a beautifully painted triplet!
Very nicely done!! Your colours are always so rich and love the shadows.
Can I just pick them off the painting and eat them? ;)

They look marvellous. I could never paint them I like them so much they would have been eaten.
You did a super job of not crossing that fine line I have to say.
Great painting.
