Scenes from a wedding!

I'm home! It was great getting away but it's always wonderful to come back : ) For those that missed my post last week, I went to B.C. to photograph a family wedding. It was a bit of a trek (2 planes, car and ferry) but completely spectacular - and it made for some awesome photos! The bride was beautiful of course, and game for all the poses I asked of her (which were substantial). Actually the whole wedding party were troopers - they tromped through the forest, navigated grassy hills and rocky shores and balanced on logs over water - thanks all!!
I wish I could share all the photos because they had a lot of neat touches (ceremony in a meadow, parasols, the coolest handmade donut tree etc...) but I will restrain myself. Here is a tiny sneak peek for the bride and groom who are on their honeymoon - but I think have internet access. Congratulations you two!!
p.s. Did I mention the bride had *killer* shoes? Love!
p.p.s. heck - I mentioned the donut tree, and it was darn funky - I have to include a picture!

Wow! Great photos! Hope you managed to catch some sun while you were here - it feels like it's been raining non-stop.

Absolutely amazingly cool! Its so great that you made them do several different poses in different sceneries. They will cherish these photos forever, and they will be unique and fun to look at.
Loved all of your lilac paintings! And oh ya, the dandelions and the pansies were lovely as well.

Fab photos. Thanks for sharing. My son is getting married Sept. 9, so I have been busy with lots of planning and just gave a shower for future daughter in law. So, this was a treat to see, I showed the bride to be these pictures. She loved them, maybe it will give her ideas!
As a result I have not painted or commented much, hence the reason no one hears much from me. I have been following tho, and want to let you know 2 of yours that are favorites. The plein air paintings and the glass of lilacs. The lilac one is a great composition and great colors. I cannot get purples like this.
Thanks for your really nice comments to me, also. I appreciate hearing from you!!
