Provence hills

Another painting from the south of France. This was from the viewpoint looking down from the medieval hilltop village of Crestet. The fields resembled an earthy patchwork quilt. This is oil on Terraskin.

I used to go to the South of France when I was younger - It is the most beautiful place isn't it? And you have done it justice. I love those distant hills and rolling clouds :0)

You are making me want to go back to the south of France. My brother rented a house in La Garde Freinet one year -- so wonderful. We visited him before we were married. In fact we'd only been together for one month when we took that trip.

Love that countryside.

XO Barbara

Now that there is purdy Kim. Seriously though it is, just so atmospheric and it also has a tactile feel to it. I want to reach out and touch it. Beautiful. :))
