I picked up the hyacinth at the garden center and let me tell you, it's a cheap form of therapy! When I smell hyacinths, and see the tulip and daffodils blooming...everything feels lighter : ) A nice shot of spring before it actually arrives.

Maybe you can explain to me how you have Spring in Canada and we have only a few signs here in sunny Texas? Not fair!
Okay - sorry! In my enthusiasm to usher it in I neglected to mention the tulips and daffodils are blooming...IN THE STORES!!! Only things popping out of the ground right now are crocuses and snowdrops : )
BEAUTIFUL PAINTING! I agree there is spring in the air when the hyacinths bloom. It is almost spring here in SC!
