So we sliced it open last night and had it for dessert. What a shock to see how gorgeous it was on the inside. The rind creates a substantial fuschia ring, and the fruit is white speckled with tiny black seeds. It tasted like a cross between a kiwi and honeydew melon, but very soft and mild.
