~A Canadian Artist's Visual Diary~
Wonderful! For some reason, I really like that strong line that runs behind the flowers. It really brings my eye up to the flowers.
Thanks : ) That's actually a piece of thick white cardboard for my backdrop and my shadow box sits on a frosted glass table top in my studio. I use to paint it out but lately have been using it in the composition.
Beautiful! I love combinations of blue and orange. I have just bestowed upon you the Sunshine Award for creativity and positivity in blogging! Check out my blog if you would like to accept your award.
Oh, I like this one .... and the seven cherries you did a while back.
Great colors, that orange and blue really sing!!
Kim...thanks so much for the Sunshine blogger award! Loved your list of artists (especially loving Tony Allain's fantastic pastels). Your oils are gorgeous, too! I'm honored to be on the list.
Wow! This one is a killer, Kim. Love those lucious colors in the flowers and against the two deep colors the vase sits on. Just a great painting.
Beautiful Kim - you're really on a roll!
Simply gorgeous. You have given these delicate flowers such strength and presence. E
