Canyon glow

This is the fourth painting in my Grand Canyon series. What I love looking at are the layers and layers of rock. Up to 2000 MILLION years old! Think about it. The canyon itself, 5 or 6 million.
6" x 8" / oil on panel / $75

Keep them coming, Kim. They are lovely in their color and their almost abstract quality.

Love this one too, Kim. Layers of rock is what came to my mind as soon as the thumbnail came us. Well done!

Dang Kim! You've been busy since I visited last, way to put the "daily" back into daily painting!

Kim, You're nailing them as well as a perfect 'triple axel'. And I know, I've seen 'em first hand!

Love the purples and the oranges in this one - these are shaping up to be a nice little series Kim.
