Olives - SOLD

I love olives but oy! were they difficult to paint! This took many turns - at first they looked blotchy and flat....but I persevered.

I'm glad you did because they look great! It doesn't look to me like you had any trouble with them.

These look like yummy olives. Painted beautifully with saturated color. I like the touches of red in the green and the black olives look luscious. The composition is nice, too.

OMG - I was just thinking WHAT would I paint to go with all my 'cocktail' paintings, and arrived at 'olives' - then I saw your post!

HOW could I ever paint olives after seeing how wonderful these are?

Kelley, If you can paint coke, you can paint olives! LOL

:) Kim, at least olives don't have carbonation! Seriously? I am in love with these olives. You should do more.

These are great. You really got the lights and darks.

I agree totally with the observations of the others.

Now let's see them as "shaken, not stirred", please! Oh, and there has to be a sliver of ice floating in the drink. A good martini always has that hint of ice that slips through the shaker, right.

These look so delicious. You aced the colors and slick, oiliness. That had to be so difficult but you really pulled it off.

Love your bottles as well!

Kim this is really good. I love the brush strokes, the shading, the texture, and the subject matter. You are a talented artist and an inspiration. Keep doing what you are doing!
