Shimmer - SOLD

I guess I'm on a sentimental journey...but these were in the same box as the baby shoes that I pulled out the other day. These are the pair of shoes I wore at my wedding. Shimmery, and not to high to be uncomfortable dancing. Now should I tell you something funny? I bought them at Value Village for 5 bucks!
6" x 6" / oil on panel / $75

Tant de souvenir n'est-ce pas??? Beaucoup d'émotion et de bonheur donc dans cette peinture...

What a great story! And talk about the ultimate recycling! Sometimes you can spend a fortune & might as well of thrown it out the window. Other times, you REALLY get your monies worth! OK, so what else is in your closet? Uggs, Candies, Velcro-sneakers? The possibilities are endless! Beckie

You captured the satiny look perfectly. I knew instantly they were wedding shoes without reading your commentary. Wonderful!

Great shoe series, Kim! Looks like you have been having fun. My son has some heavy work boot/shoes I've been dying to try. I will have to take the plunge!

A wonderful investment of $5 Kim.
Really enjoy your cropping which adds intrigue, as well the "sheen" of the pumps.
