Silver sandal

This is my painting for the Daily Paintworks Challenge: The One Colour per Stroke Challenge. Instructions were to use a large flat brush, at least 1/2", and mix one colour per stroke. I went with a really large brush - 7/8". And..it was a challenge ; ) It's a valuable exercise for sure.  It makes you mix colour and put down strokes very deliberately, thoughtfully, and completely takes away any chance for fussiness or over-working. I do notice a nice liveliness in my background.
