Kim, this one is my favorite. The colors are exquisite! I love graphic quality of the stems and leaves and the loose brush strokes in the flowers. Just great!
Ooh, interesting! The way you cropped it gives it an almost abstracted look. I agree about the negative spaces, they rock. Nice!! I SO wanted to paint lilacs this year--just never quite got around to it.

Kim, this is my favorite so far of the lilac paintings. I love the abstract look of this painting.
i can detect their fragrance just by looking at this stunner!!!
Love the composition of this one especially and I agree with the other comments about the negative space and the abstract quality. So lovely.
Beautiful, Kim! I also wish I could smell them!
Wonderful informal set up and the light and dark masses are placed perfectly, very lovely

gorgeous -- love the spaces in between the stems and leaves -- just perfect!
Kim, your work always amazes me. These are fabulous.
I absolutely love how the lower left hand quadrant seems to be very abstract yet this is a figurative painting! A favourite of mine, love it.
Fantastic! Love the composition, especially the negative shapes.
