Back in the day

So yesterday was my class with Laurie Wonfor Nolan. We went on a field trip to Southworks Antique Mall. It was my first time being there and I'm a little bit in love...lol. We were free to roam the place, set-up wherever we wished and PAINT! How cool is that? Southworks is Canada's largest antique mall and everywhere you look is a treasure. I opted to paint this oven. I was attracted to it immediately and think it was the black and white thing again. The tea towel, black enamel trim, vent holes etc... it was just really interesting.

I'm loving these interior paintings of yours - the composition, color and abstract quality all beautifully put together seem to come naturally to you! Looking forward to more!

Grâce à cette composition vous redonner une seconde vie à ces objets en attente d'être remarqués ... Aujourd'hui votre talent les met en valeur et leur attribue un choix de première classe.
Vous avez traité cette peinture avec de belles couleurs...
gros bisous

I love all the colours that you have used for the 'white' oven, and the quirky composition too!

Ooooh, I have two friends who would love this antique mall. If they went in I would be worried they may never leave.

What a great adventure to paint there. Did you have lots of onlookers? I'm sure people were curious about all of the painters.

This is so well composed and I love all of your colour choices. I say go with this black and white theme. It is working for you.
