Pistachos

I was painting these while I finished listening to Canada Reads today. If you're wondering who won the literary prize this year, it was Something Fierce: Memoirs of a Revolutionary Daughter by Carmen Aguirre. I love this annual competition and Jian Ghomeshi was the perfect moderator as always ; )

I love how you took such small objects and made them so interesting. Very nice Kim!

You come up with the most unusual subjects! This makes a great pattern and gives me a new appreciation for the beauty in pistachios!

Hi Kim,

I was listening while I painted yesterday too, and I was really glad that book won. I guess should read all of the books, but that one sounded very interesting. Your painting is fantastic, and I love Jian Ghomeshi.
