Horses on a misty day

This was a piece I painted last week but didn't get around to posting because of the Santa series. But what do you know - it's overcast today as well. This is the first time I've ever drawn and painted a horse. In all these years! Surprising, really. How did I get away with that?

I think you did wonderful capturing the horses and considering that it was your first time!! They couldn't be an easy subject to do as they move around and constantly changing their 'pose'.
Love your colours (again)and the mood of the picture. :)

I agree... but do wonder how you managed to NEVER do a horse before! I spent about 2 years drawing and painting nothing but horses heads and the human eye (did you go through a phase like that? I was very young). lol
