Industrial view

This is a view from my studio which is in an industrial section of town - and the weather was absolutely gorgeous! A bright blue sky, a high of +3, and sunshine!! My heart is full of warmth and happiness today - still feeling the glow from Vancouver. So many inspiring moments that brought me to tears...and what a hockey game!! : )
6" x 6" / oil on panel / $75

That patriotic glow is very heart warming!

This painting rocks. Those zig zag shadows and path plop you down right in the middle of the scene.

So cool!

Carol is right. I didn't know what it was about the painting that made me feel so comfortable looking at it. I actually wondered what it was about an industrial scene that could draw me in to it so. It's the shadows, bare spots, etc. that make it seem so right.

And yeah, let's celebrate those Olympic memories with a nice refreshing drink! How about a nice hot cup of Tim's!

Gotta' luvit!

Hey Kim

I love the zig zag lines that lead the eyes to the tree and then the gate (?) and the colouring is lovely.
Thanks for stopping by the blog :-)

This is a slam bangin' STRONG painting. I love it. The color harmony is wonderful and there's JUST ENOUGH there to make a beautiful painting.
