Last night I was painting at Rachel's, the woman who owns the property that has the cedar grove (from which I've painted a number of cedars). I thought instead of going back to my favourite subject I would try something new. So this is it! She's got a great property - there was SO much to chose from.

Simply gorgeous! I love those small purple flowers. And the composition is just gorgeous. I'm very curious as to (I know we hate to get these questions. Ahem. . . but I'm asking you anyway) how long a typical painting takes for you. You seem to be able to make one masterpiece after the other :)
I love this one. Love, love, love it.
Wow - beautiful. You have really captured the essence of these flowers. Love the delicate colours used in the peonies.
Kim, Love these peonies! They are one of my favorite and you've captured them well. Very painterly!
This is a great painting, Kim! Beautiful, looks like you painted it with confidence and ease! You are good with flowers!
Love those peonies Kim...wonderful color!
Just a magnificant painting Kim I am always amazed at your work
Lightness, fresh and brilliant!
I agree with everyone ! It's so beautiful.
Another great one Kim. It seems to me that your painting style has turned 180 in the past few weeks. You have gone from very simple uncluttered compositions, to very complex ones. I am very impressed!
I have a lot of favourites among your stuff, Kim - but this ranks right up there with the one I bought. Composition is exceptional.
We are definitely in sync, Kim! I love your white peonies - so lush and .... well, yes, colorful!
Kim - you are on fire lately - amazing piece.
Oooooh, I love this one! Thank you for the inspirational comments you have been leaving on my blog too!!
Very Strong!! Hopefully, next year I'll have my very own Peonies to paint.
