Congratulations to Barb Hillier of British Columbia. She won the painting from yesterday. Barb - as soon as it dries, I will send it out to you! Thanks again everyone : )
This painting is from a peach orchard down the road. As I said yesterday, there is a profusion of pink (and white) in the fields right now. Really quite stunning.

Wow! What a wonderful surprise to have found I won a painting of yours Kim! I love it and this latest one as well! Our city of Penticton is known as Peach City but I think soon there will be more vineyards than orchards. The blossoms here are pretty but on the coast the cherry trees are literally snowing pink petals. So very pretty. Love your work!
Congratulations to Barb abd deep thanks to you Kim the giver. It is a generous offer. This new one is a real splash of colour and I am so sure it must be marvellous to look at the blossom like that. In our village the war memorial is surrounded by such blossom bt sadly tis year the wind is blowing in a direction where it is not able to last long.
You continue to inspire me.
This is gorgeous Kim. I love that pink!
Such a lovely painting... It takes my mind back to when I lived among the orchards in the hills, inland of Perth.
Beautiful, beautiful Kim!! Oh, how I love the pink. And that spot of green in the bottom is perfect with it!
And congrats to the happy winner!!
Hi Kim, congrats on getting to 100 followers. I agree the interactive nature of blogging is fun. I really like getting feedback too. I am enjoying your last three landscapes, strong simple composition and a great painterly feel. I can also relate to getting that great energetic start and then thinking now what!
