Reading in bed

Okay - today I stretched a bit and did a figure painting. I don't remember ever doing one so small - maybe back in my school days? Anyway, I felt a bit rusty. It was tough! I found the preliminary drawing was pretty quick and nice but when I went to paint - argh! All those tones! But...I loved doing it. It was a challenge but it felt good and in the end I was happy that I managed to keep it fairly loose (and human -looking...lol).
