Soup's on!

A nice pot of soup for a cold December day. It feels good after all the chocolates and excesses of the past few days. Funny thing: My Mother-in-law has the same pots as my Mom had when I was growing up. The handle and the lid are triangular. Kitchen memories : )
6" x 6" / oil on panel / $75

Love the way you captured that chrome in a few masterful strokes!

Kim,
Really nice reflections in the pot. All the colors there are awesome. Triangle top and handle adds interest for sure.

Kim, I like your value range in this painting. Your darks aren't too dark. Nice strokes.

I made my soup today. So much turkey left!
What a great idea for a painting. Great reflections. So, were you making soup at your Mother in Laws and then decided to paint or.....just trying to figure it out :-)

It looks fantastic! The reflections and light in the metal bring it so much to life! :o)
