Last year, I had some fun making a Top 10 list so I thought I would make it a tradition. These are ten of my personal favourites. It's a good exercise to look over your body of work. Certainly, some made me cringe but happily many made me smile. I can see what I learned this year and have a clear picture of what I want to study the year ahead. Wishing all of you a New Year filled with affection, peace and kindness!

It is always fun to see what the artist views as thier favorite. This a great idea! They are all wonderful. It must have been challenging to determine which ones were favorites...your work is so strong. Happy New year!!

I think pot, wine and mango is my favourite of the top 10. Maybe it's the title; sounds like a Saturday night many years ago, hahahahaha.
But seriously, the colour and composition just work for me. I really like the pot colour. Nice stuff Kim! All the best in the New Year!

I must admit that's a really great idea, and you have some great pieces selected. They are all gems but the plums look so delicious right now.

All the best in the New Year!

Really great paintings and a great year for you, Kim! I love this top ten idea. It is fun to see what paintings you personally like the best. It's fun to speculate about what made you choose each one...is it something you learned, or is it a particular technique, or just the finished painting you pull off.... All of these are terrific paintings! Here's to another great year!

I think "Holiday Table" is my favorite. You know me, always drawn to darkness and moodiness :-)
A great selection.
Happy New Year and Happy Painting!
We'll have to have that "get together"in the New Year!

Great choices. I had to chuckle about the 'cringe' remark. They aren't all winners are they, but usually someone else will see something wonderful in a painting I consider unsuccessful. Thus, I never tell which ones I don't favor.
Happy New Year and thanks for the great idea. I might use it meself ;)
