Chocolate love - SOLD

This is a piece of some DIVINE cake that one of my most favourite people made the other day : ) It is moist and dense with raspberry preserves and chocolate ganache filling. SO fantastic. It made everyone smile. That's the magic of really good food, yes? Thank you! xo

This is brilliant! I love the shine on that gooey topping and the highlights on the rasberries. And that dark chocolate colour is just so fabulous and rich - my mouth is actually watering! :0)

Lovely painting! I like the graphic horizon line. The pale blues really set off the rich shades of the chocolate. Looks yummy!

Bring on more. It was so good to hear from you again KIm thank you for your encouraging words. Yes bring on the cherry blossom. The thought of spring and summer is what is making the digging happen .

I think I saw this first on Facebook - I am SO behind in my blog visits! - but what a standout! I love everything about it - the composition, the fork, the colors of the background against the cake - and... the CAKE! As someone who struggles painting baked goods, I know good cake when I see it. Here it is!
