Today I had coffee with friends who have a beautiful yard. I painted there last summer,
here and
here. This morning we took a stroll around their gardens and I asked if I could have a sprig of their quince to paint. So here it is in one of my antique ink pots.
6" x 6" / oil on archival panel / $75

It's beautiful Kim! I really love the shadow.
Thanks! I'm glad I didn't sit on them ; )
Your flower paintings are beautiful. I am particularly drawn to the quince. Several artists are painting these lovely flowers which I have never seen.
Think if you had sat on this it might not have been comfortable thos little bottles are so great you use them so well and so often.
This is awesome, Kim. Love your color palette!
