I really like painting empty bottles becasue of all the greens and transparencies. And talk about an exercise in value studies. Squint, squint, squint! Stand back. Multiple times. Drink. (I kid... : ) 6" x 6" / oil on archival panel / SOLD
I find bottles SO difficult to draw, let alone paint. There's the whole 'neck' issue, and trying to get them symetrical and then you go and add fore-shortening to the equasion!!! I think this is SO much more difficult than some might think and yet you manage to make it look effortless! :0)

Really beautiful, Kim!! Love those bright greens, just gorgeous!
I think drink is a great idea to celebrate a great painting.
Ah an idea with what to do with the empty bottles i gather. Lovely
Exquisite, Kim! I love the clean lines and reflected light--and those grays just make all the greens and reds POP, nice work!!
not to mention the fore-shortening. Value studies extraordinaire.
Beautiful.
