Chickory weed - SOLD

This is the problem I have with calling some things weeds - if it wasn't labelled a weed, you'd probably love it for it's beauty! This one is all over the place right now : )

That is beautiful! I'd never call it a weed. Slander! That's what it is. :)

I think it's beautiful... and very nicely rendered as well. I don't think it's a plant I've ever seen before.

Chicory is a very beautiful flower. I have always wanted to paint them with Queen Anne's Lace, another "weed".

Hi, I've stopped by from Crystal Cook's blog. Nice style you've got - You can take the every day item and make it stand out.

I took some pictures of a lot of pretty weeds a couple of weeks ago when I went on a hike in the mountains. ;)

Nice to 'meet' you.

Hi Kim!... "Weed" is a slanderously human description for wild flower. If we can't control it... it's a weed!

If you look about... manicured grass and gardens are withering... whereas the countryside is alive with thriving waves of happy.. flourising wild flowers! I wonder????

Good Painting!
Warm regards,
Bruce

Such beautiful colors!! Sometimes those weeds are happy accidents, makes me feel less guilty about not weeding:)
