Blueberry danish

I went to the bakery and picked up some breakfast treats this morning. I had a cinnamon bun and coffee but had to buy a danish just to paint. That blueberry filling looked too tempting : )

Kim! The beauty you have captured in this danish (a danish for goodness sake!) is amazing. I mean that, I know I say they are all perfect and gorgeous and amazing. But it is TRUE! You have no idea how much I love your work. :)

Happy Mother's Day tomorrow my friend!

I agree with Crystal - that you are an excellent painter Kim. That blue line in the composition is just amazing.

Excellent work, Kim! You aced the colors of the pastry and blueberry filling. Love everything about this one! That turquoise band anchors your subject perfectly. Delicious!

This is great! You've really managed to capture the pastry with so few, expressive strokes. Something I am dreadful at :( Looking forward to seeing more of your works!
